Water is one of the most important and essential natural resources available on mother earth for our use. It is essential for existence and sustenance of life and maintaining ecological balance in the world. Life on earth without water is not possible and we have witnessed many wars fought between civilizations over water.
Water constitutes most part of the earth only minimum percent of it is fresh water for our daily use. The amount of fresh water that the earth holds has remained constant, but we are polluting it in many harmful ways eventually leading to water scarcity. Adequate measures must be taken towards optimal usage of water and employ methods like rain water harvesting in order to ensure availability for future.
Water is a very essential source of life on earth for various needs like drinking, cooking, bathing, washing, agriculture etc. We should save water and should not pollute it so that it remains available for the future generations too. We should stop wasting water and use it scarcely and thus maintain the proper quality of water.
Clean water is a very essential component of life, so we need to conserve water for the future utility. Clean water is not only a necessity of human beings but also for the sustenance of other species. If we save water we are helping other species to survive on earth and help preserve the biodiversity. Water scarcity has become a major issue in many parts of world and demand for water has been on the increase. It is important that we start taking crucial steps in saving water available on earth. It is our responsibility and duty to use water in a responsible way and avoid the wastage of water because every drop of water we save will help others in their survival.
After air, water is the most vital resource which our Mother Nature has freely offered us. The quantity of clean water is very limited and it is mainly available in lakes, rivers and ground water. It is our prime responsibility that we should stop this and also spread the campaign to ‘SAVE WATER’ so that we can conserve one of the most valuable and vital resources not only for today but also for generations to come.
